I thought that this was a little more work than I would have liked but it tasted WONDERFUL. It was really way too soupy. When I make this recipe I add a can of white corn. To build rich flavor, the chicken is first seared in a skillet and the aromatic onions and fresh garlic are lightly sauteed in the same pan with the remaining flavorful juices and browned bits from the chicken before being transferred to the slow cooker. White chicken chili is my current favorite, because I don’t really have to serve anything else with it for my family to feel full. We like this recipe better than the others we tried. The recipe states 2-3 Tablespoons and that seems like a lot. The flavour was quite good, but the whole thing just didn't excite the palate.
