40K. Skeleton Spearmen is a Vampire Counts melee infantry unit in Total War: Warhammer. Little more than shuffling bones with swords and spears, Skeletons perform a dutiful, if not exemplary, job in the battle lines. The end game army is super expansive and it's not viable for a bunch of stacks. I'm about to launch another Vampire Counts campaign but I remember from the last time I didn't really understand what is the difference in roles that two unit types play, even after watching tactics videos on the faction. These skeletons are warriors raised from times long ago, having been slain in combat and buried with both their weapons and armor still intact. Vampire counts have bad economy and bad end game units. My main problem is with the economy especially if you compare with vampire coast's economy. Both are used as tarpits, and while the zombies are way slower than the skeletons and they can take more of a pounding. For my next post I'll be focusing on some other Vampire Counts models I painted in the past on square bases. I need to really pace myself to get through 80 Skeleton Warriors. Their economy should be buffed. But there are other Vampire Counts projects waiting to get started too so there will be some variety so wish me the best of luck! Vampire coast IMO is the easiest faction to win mortal empire. Skeletons form the mainstay of the Vampire Counts armies, and unlike Zombies, have the ability to go head-to-head against other enemy infantry.
